My personal Doc build.
A few notes:
My deck basically changes from act to act, this draft is how its looking ATM while im doing act 3. That being said, im never really happy with my decks and change them up almost every day.
Card 1 & 2 is almost always the first two cards i pick up, even if i dont have a mom on my team, but it happens ill forego money grubbers for needs of the many from time to time. otherwise cards 3 to 8 is almost never picked in that exact order and is very much picked depending on how my team is doing / their skill level. from there on i usually pick the rest in the order of the deck.
But the cards i keep in my deck no matter what act im playing is the following (All the cards with a (*), i will explain/talk a bit about further down) :
- Support scavenger
- Money grubbers (*)
- Experienced EMT
- Poultice (*)
- Needs of the many
- Charitable soul
- Copper scavenger (*)
- Box o' Bags
- Combat medic
- Field surgeon
- Cross trainers (*)
The rest of the cards in this deck is there because of act 3.
And now for the cards with (*) :
- Money grubbers & copper scavenger, these cards might be changed up a bit depending on if im playing with a three or four stack or if im playing with randoms, the setup you see here is with randoms in minds, if im playing with a stack i prefer taking share the wealth in the spot where i have money grubbers (the rest if the stack should do the same, otherwise you wont get the full value out of share the wealth) and then take money grubbers at later time, skipping copper scavenger fully.
- Poultice is a card im on the fence about, i love it for allowing pills to heal "real" health on top of the temporary parts and can definatly see the strength in that, but at the same time i keep finding it kind of underwhelming whenever i pick it up, as support scavenger usually provides me with more than enough healing items to keep everyone topped off. the only reason i havnt removed it from my deck yet, is that i havnt found i card to replace it yet.
- Cross trainers is my usual go-to card in decks if i need movement speed/stamina and shit, and its great for that, but i feel like i need something that does the job better, i just havnt been able to figure out what.
The last three cards is my "flex cards" that change depending on act, for act 1 i went with more use speed (and movement speed/stamina cards) and for act 2 i went for some "all-around" cards, like cold brew coffee (and movement speed/stamina cards).
I did use group therapy for a while, but moved away from it for a couple of reasons:
- Ones again, support scavenger seems to be enough to keep everyone topped of (when your team is somewhat competent)
- the fact that the 8 heal only gets affected by the targets healing effeciency and not the user means that it will only do any meaningfull amount of healing when you're using a medical accessory on yourself, and when you already have charitable soul in the deck thats not very often.
